DOGGIE DAY CARE |
Our indoor playrooms and expansive outdoor yards are the perfect environment for your dog to play the day away. The program is lots of fun and provides the important socialization and exercise that dogs need. The activity will have a positive impact on your pet’s social behavior, stress level and general health. At the end of the day, your four-legged child will be ready to come home to you for a relaxing evening.
The entire Fur Seasons campus is used for Doggie Day Care. Guests spend the day playing in the indoor playrooms, running and jumping in any of our 5 fenced yards, swimming in the in-ground pool, or watching the big screen television. Lunchtime offers the perfect opportunity for a mid-day rest from all the activities. Dogs should relieve themselves outside, so the day is punctuated by numerous outdoor walks to turn-out yards made of K-9 Grass, an anti-microbial artificial turf which is easy to clean and disinfect. |

The playrooms have special rubber flooring to protect the dogs’ feet. Size-appropriate toys are available and Guest Service staff members always supervise the groups.
The swimming pool has been designed so that even dogs who don’t actually swim can enjoy the cool water and the company of their doggie-friends. It's a salt water pool: no chemicals are added. The salt water produces a natural chlorine which acts as a water softner and is healthier for the dog's skin and coat. The shallow end is only 3” deep, perfect for fur-guests who only want to stand in the pool. The deep end is 38”, sufficient for the real swimmers to enjoy.

Playgroups are carefully organized according to pet size and temperament. Senior dogs can enjoy their own group. The number of dogs in any one group is limited and the staff monitors the excitement level at all times. Each guest must pass a temperament evaluation to be accepted into Day Care: they cannot be aggressive or extremely dominant. Additionally all participants must be neutered or spayed if more than 9 months old, must be current on all shots, and be on a flea and tick prevention program. |
